The diffuser will automatically shut off once the duration has completed.
You can turn the ambient light on and off at any point by long pressing the Strength button.
We highly recommend our Made in Canada Organic Essential Oils, as they plug in seamlessly into the diffuser.
The diffuser does come with an empty bottle, and is compatible with any 10ml or 15ml standard essential oil bottle.

I love the look, quality feel of this product, and the fact I don't have to add water every day.
What I DON'T LOVE is the intermittent motor noise that it makes. It would almost be better if it was a constant sound, because then I could tune it out, like white noise. Instead, it comes in spurts, I believe it's every 20, 40, or 60 seconds. It's loud enough enough to feel disruptive. I originally planned to have this in my office/meditation space but I can't handle the sound so I've moved it to my living room which is a larger space but one that I'm not in as often.
It's a shame because I really wanted it to be part of my cozy, serene office while I worked but yea, that noise irritates me which is the opposite of calming. I wish there was a way to just leave it on constantly, even if it does use up the oil faster.
I like the product and it does what it says, but the battery is not to good. I am also encountering some issues with the control button that works 2/3 times. I feel like it's going to break soon.
On the other hand, it's a nice-looking diffusor that has potential, but maybe once some change is made. You probably should wait until these issues are addressed.
The diffuser I thought I wanted wasn't available so I went with a recommendation for the waterless one. It's wonderful. No concerns about keeping it filled with water. The whole bottle of essential oil is connected and I enjoy having the strength and duration options.
